Photovoltaics for more efficient building operations
Two photovoltaic power plants with an output of 50 kWp each, including battery storage systems with a capacity of 100 kWh, were installed on two buildings in the Brno-Líšeň area. The generated electricity will primarily be used for the buildings’ own consumption, helping to reduce the demand for electricity supplied from the distribution grid.
The project was implemented with the support of the National Development Bank through an interest-free loan and a subsidy for the acquisition of the technology.
Each photovoltaic power plant is expected to generate approximately 55 MWh of electricity annually, contributing not only to lower operating costs but also to reduced emissions and more sustainable operations within the ZKL Group.
