Ball bearings

Ball bearings or point contact bearings are among the most common types of rolling bearings. They are characterized by low friction and can withstand higher speeds than roller bearings of the same size. Ball bearings can be loaded by radial load, axial load, torque or in combination, depending on the type. As a result, they can be used in many applications: from small computer fans to mounting blades for industrial wind turbines.
